VIVAMED-S SHORT TERM PLAN (Medical & Life Insurance w/ Emergency Plan for Short Term Stay in Japan)
VIVAMED-S(SHORT TERM) is a convenient medical & life insurance for foreigners who stay in Japan for 6 months or shorter. It covers up to 100% of actual medical fees for illness and injury including hospitalization with an affordable premium. It also has Emergency Plan which covers cost to call a family from the home country in an emergency situation.
- Medical insurance covers up to 800,000 yen for actual medical fees for illness and injury including hospitalization.
- Emergency plan covers up to 2 million yen to call a family from the home country.
- Emergency plan pays 200K yen urgently as priority payment.
- A life insurance plan that covers up to 5 million yen for death due to accident and up to 3 million yen for death due to illness.
- Person from ages 1 to 60 years old can purchase the plan.
- For applicants under 15 years old, parent or accompanying adult over 18 years old must also apply for insurance.
- Term of Contract: 1month, 2months, 3months, or 6months
* Please apply within 5 days from date of entry to Japan.
* The amount of coverage and premium are different depending on term of contract and age of the applicant. Please check and confirm before applying.
* Emergency insurance is not applicable for ages below 15 years old.
