Up to 100% of the actual medical fees for illness and injury that occurred within Japan within the covered period will be reimbursed.

Life Insurance　　¥2,000,000

Benefits will be paid when the insured (foreign student) dies within Japan within the covered period.

Specified Disability Plan　　¥2,000,000

Benefits will be paid when the insured student is stricken with a specific disability within 180 days from physical injury inflicted by unforeseen accidents which occurred within Japan within the covered period.

Emergency Plan　　¥2,000,000

When the insured person dies or is in grave condition, benefits will be paid for costs of travel and accommodation for family members to come to Japan, transporting deceased back to his/her home country and disposing things left behind by the deceased. Priority amount of 200,000 yen to cover extra expensees will be paid to the person or school bearing costs.

Those who have a visa up to 3 months cannot enlist in the National Health Insurance. Therefore Viva Vida’s short-term plan is strongly recommended to buy because up to 100% of medical fee is insured.
